WHAT IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN CHILDREN.

“MAKE SURE THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS”(PHIL 1:10)

“Make sure the most important things. Parents, what could be most important than your children. Among most young people today, sex is common as eating and drinking. According to statistics, nearly 90% of boys and girls between 13 to 19 years of age have had sexual intercourse or oral sex.

Parents: would you absolutely horrified and embarrassed if you knew the wandering of your children in a streets alone at day and night? If no, do you appear like the paranoia of overconcerned adults who have forgotten what it is like to be a teenager? Parent: do not let the demands of life overworm out precious opportunities to talk with your children and advice them.

When it comes to shaping children’s values and goals, parents are the pivotal role before any other persons. Parents as I know are the pivotal role of morality that advice their young ones what to wear, hoping that they will learn good dress senses tomorrow. But it is not an absurd idea to see parent still advice 40-year old healthy adults what to wear?

The Bible encourages us:  “clothes yourselves with the new personality- a christelike personality. You can help your children to put on the new personality by means of loving discipline and mental- regulating. Then as they grow will make “the new personality” their choice of attire too, seeing it as truly beautiful and appealing. Children, it is up to you to obey: children who simply conform to what good parents want them to do today may conform to what the world want them to do tomorrow!
